“ We found this truck after a long drunken night at the UBS Arena. The two guys were super nice. The food was a hell of alot better than I was expecting. When they say something is spicy they are not b'sing you. ”
“ Some cool guys making more than the usual tacos. I was just hungry and looking for a snack to munch on so luckily found these guys. Tacos are really good. They have others like Burritos, Tostadas and Quesadillas. Grab a bite when you come around. Bon appetit. ”
“ I just had tacos 3 different kind very good very flavorful ”
“ They have been here for ages! The food is absolutely delicious. The price is absolutely worth it considering they do not skimp on the meat and give you no fatty parts. The service is always excellent. It’s always the same man there everyday 7 days a week and he is always in a great mood and super sweet. Its cash only. Call your order in! ”
“ Although it's listed as "Taco Truck" on Google Maps, this food truck is actually called Tacos Maya. It's our favorite taco truck in Queens, so we have no problem with this place being listed as THE taco truck in the area. The unmarked neon green truck is parked on the south side of Jamaica Ave. between 143th and 144th St. The marker on Google Maps is accurate. There are quite a few meats to choose from, but our favorites are Maya chili carnitas, chorizo, oreja, and campechano. The chili carnitas is crispy, the chorizo is homemade, and the campechano is a fun mix of different meats. The oreja (pig's ear) is very unique and delicious. Given that Chinese eat pig's ear as a cold appetizer dish, we really enjoy the warm grilled version wrapped in corn tortillas. We have tried many taco trucks in Queens (especially in Corona), but we like the flavor at Tacos Maya best. As a given for food truck, everything is freshly made after ordering, and price is very reasonable, but cash only. There are currently no listed hours on Google Maps, but they supposedly open every day at 7:00PM and close at 3:00AM for "normal" days and 5:00AM for "weekends." ”
“ I've been coming to this truck for years. The tacos are amazing and very well portioned. You know the food is good when the neighborhood is dangerous. ”
“ Immaculately clean, very fair prices, and HUGE portions. Quality is better than the local Mexican restaurants. The hours are perfect for late nighters and for working folks who need a satisfying meal to start an early day. It's cash only. Really, really delicious food. ”
“ The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! I would have given this place 5 stars but the wait time was a little too long. Next time I will call in my order which seems to be what all the locals do. The guy taking orders was a little soft spoken and English seems to be a slight barrier but we got the job done! The chef fixes food in order and cleans the grill between each one. I’m not sure what time they come park on Jamaica ave but they stay open late! Google maps led me to the exact location. Great food here! ”
